Title: Outbound Sales Representative
Salary: $13-$15/Hour
Position: Temp to Hire

What is this?
Local technology Company is looking for a part-time outbound sales professional. The person hired will be responsible for calling leads provided to the company and setting up follow-up tasks for the sales team when appropriate. The professional hired will work 20 hours a week.

What does my day look like?
-Take a list of prospects (approximately 300-400) and contact them
 Gather as much information as possible during the call to determine fit.
-Network to individual within the agency that can answer key questions:

  1.  Is the agency currently using eCitations,  if so, what vendor?
  2. Are they satisfied?
  3. If they are not using eCiations: Offer general aspects about Saltus and digiTICKE, History, Capabilities, Different pricing options, references
  4. Offer the benefits:
    -Reduced time on the roadside
    -Reduced errors through the use of scanners and required fields
    -Data exports to other record and court systems
  5. Would they be interested in further information or a demo?

-Set up demos or follow up calls when needed

-Use the internet to research agencies and contacts

-Use Sales force to identify contacts or add contact data identified through research

-Enter calls and detailed notes into Salesforce and create any follow-up tasks needed to ensure client satisfaction

What does the perfect candidate look like?

  • College, High school diploma, or equivalent
  • Three (3) years of recent experience, preferably within the last 6 months- 1 year, in outbound telemarketing calls or cold sales
  • Strong attention to detail and follow up skills.
  • Ability to go "off-script" and ask appropriate questions based on the audience
  • Possess strong proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Internet.
  • Must have the ability to handle moderately complex assignments under general supervision.
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communications skills and organization skills.
  • Should have a high level of verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to interact effectively with people of all types.
  • Law Enforcement or Military Experience is a plus
