What is this?
Local Tulsa based renewable energy company is seeking an Electrical Journeyman to join their team for the Oklahoma City area. Candidates must be licensed in Oklahoma. Some travel will be required (10-20%). When traveling employee will be paid a per diem of $30.00 a day plus hotel costs. Must be able to work overtime if needed. Solar exp. is a plus.

What does my day look like?
• Install, maintain, and repair residential electrical systems.
• Read and follow plan sets and one-line diagrams.
• Interpret the desires of customers and offer solutions that meet electrical and safety codes while also delivering a satisfying product to the customer.
• Educate apprentice electricians about the current code requirements and methods used to install and trouble shoot electrical systems.
• To work toward gaining the experience and knowledge to obtain their Unlimited Journeyman License.
• Coordinate obtaining permits and inspections with the office and meet with local inspectors as needed to facilitate the passing of inspections.

What does the perfect candidate look like?
• Must have a valid state Driver’s License
• Must have a clean driving record
• Required to lift a minimum of 50lbs
• Pass criminal back ground check
• Pass Drug Test
• Solar experience is a plus

What will the physical requirements be?
Physical requirements for positions include: arm and hand steadiness and finger dexterity enough to use a keyboard and telephone; occasional lifting up to 25 pounds; may be subject to walking, standing, sitting, and reaching; and vision, speech, and hearing sufficient to perform the essential tasks. Must be able to drive for lengthy periods of time. Any physical restrictions should be discussed or noted within the interview process.
