What is this?

Local Tulsa Company is seeking a Guest Services & Repair Specialist to join their team. This person will not only handle repairs but also be the first point of contact for customers. The person in this role needs to be customer oriented with a strong work ethic.

What does my day look like?

  • TAKE IN REPAIRS AND APPRAISALS PER PROCEDURE AND FOLLOWING UP TO MAKE SURE JOBS ARE DONE BEFORE DUE DATE, ADVISING GUESTS AND MANAGER OF ANY DELAYS
  • NOTIFY GUEST OF ANY CHANGE IN JOB ESTIMATES
  • ENSURE QUALITY CONTROL FOR ALL IN HOUSE AND OUT OF HOUSE REPAIRS AND CUSTOM JOBS, REPORTING ANY DISCREPANCIES TO JEWELERS AND MANAGER.
  • CHECK IN JOBS AS THEY ARE COMPLETED AND FILES IN APPROPRIATE PICK UP BOX
  • RETURN UNSOLD STOCK TO THE DISPLAYS
  • ANSWER PHONES
  • CLEAN STORE AND STOCK
  • TAG JEWELRY AND HELP WITH STOCKTAKING
  • FIT WATCH BANDS, BATTERIES AND DO SMALL REPAIRS
  • ASSISTS WITH DUTIES REGARDING OPENING AND CLOSING OF STORE AS NEEDED
  • ANSWER PHONES AND GREET GUESTS AS THEY COME IN THE STORE, MAKING THEM COMFORTABLE IF WAITING FOR A SALES ASSOCIATE
  • COMPETENT IN PROCEDURES FOR INPUTTING INVENTORY IN TO POS SYSTEM AND TAGGING NEW MERCHANDISE
  • SUPPORT THE TOP SALESPEOPLE THROUGH A SALE TO KEEP THE SALESPERSON WITH THE GUEST
  • HANDLE THE POINT OF SALE
  • ABLE TO HELP SALESPERSON WITH FINANCING AND CREIT APPROVALS
  • LISTEN AND LEARN FROM SALESPERSON
  • CASE COUNTS
  • WRAP ROOM STOCKED AND ORGANIZED
  • PROCESSING CREDIT APPLICATIONS AND DOCUMENTATION AS NEEDED

What does the perfect candidate look like?

  • Computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience with a multi-line telephone.
  • Six months to one year of relevant experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.
  • Ability to handle and resolve challenging problems.

What will the physical requirements be?

Physical requirements for positions include: arm and hand steadiness and finger dexterity enough to use a keyboard and telephone; occasional lifting up to 25 pounds; ability to walk to and from courthouse, standing, sitting, and reaching; and vision, speech, and hearing sufficient to perform the essential tasks.
