Title: Paralegal
Salary: $40,000/YR
Position: Direct Hire
Local law firm is seeking a full-time Paralegal to work in its office. Professional hired should be proficient in Word and Excel 2007/2010 and have strong and proven writing skills and organizational skills. Extensive experience with litigation particularly with large document productions., is preferable.

As a Paralegal, a typical day for you might include the following:
• Assisting partner with organizing and managing their day to day personal, legal and financial matters.
• Handling incoming and outgoing mail functions while maintaining clear and consistent filing systems, both electronic and paper for clients.
• Updating and maintaining accurate records and preparing minutes.
• Transcribing depositions and preparing court documents.
• Drafting letters and legal documentation.

This job might be for you if:
• You possess 3 or more years of experience as a paralegal.
• You have experience working within Litigation, and specifically with large document productions.
• Are a Certified Paralegal or have a Degree is Paralegal.

While performing the duties of this job:
You may be constantly required to sit and use hands to operate telephone, type and operate computer and mouse. You also may occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and rarely lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
