Salary: $22-$26 an hour

Position: Temp-to-Hire

Local Tulsa Non-Profit is seeking a part-time Accountant. They are a leader in providing programs in education, recreation and social development our youth in the Tulsa area. Our staff and mentors work with our youth to provide opportunities that develop character, instill values, and equip youth for success.

Their programs encompass tutoring, character training, youth mentoring, health and fitness training, sports leagues, career exploration, community service, and summer camps. As an Accountant, a typical day for you might include the following:

  • Manage all AP and AR functions
  • Perform quarterly audits to ensure we are complying with state and federal laws with regards to documentation
  • Manage Monthly budget
  • Preparing monthly financial statements
  • Always provide fast, accurate and reliable information to management
  • Reconciliation of Bank accounts
  • Prepare monthly balance sheets
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual income statements
  • Prepare gross margin reports
  • Analyze the profit reports on a weekly basis
  • Review expensed payables for accuracy
  • Pay bills in a timely fashion
  • Run monthly cash flow reports
  • Entering J/E for payroll (payroll and quarterly reports are processed by Paycom)
  • Make bank deposits
  • Reconcile companies statements

This job might be for you if:

  • 3-5 years Accounting
  • Bachelors in Accounting or Finance
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, QuickBooks and Paycom
  • Prior experience supporting a capital campaign
  • Prior nonprofit experience preferred

While performing the duties of this job:

You may be constantly required to sit and use hands to operate telephone, type and operate computer and mouse. You also may occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and rarely lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
