As a/an HR/Payroll Professional, a typical day for you might include the following:
• Establish Recruiting, Screening, Orientation, and Onboarding processes and procedures.
• Plan and Manage Job Fairs
• Recommends, Implements, Directs, and Maintains Employee Benefit Plans
• Knowledge of 401K Plan functions.
• Supports company guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending appropriate HR policies and procedures.
• Knowledge of EEOC Guidelines
• Maintains Job Requirements and Descriptions
• Works as a key Team Member supporting Operation and Administration functions
• Maintains Employee Assessment Procedures
• Monitors and Implements procedures that ensure legal compliance with HR federal and state employment requirements.
• Understanding of Employment Law.
• Reporting Salary and Wage results and statistics to management.
• Assisting with annual Budget preparation
• Process payroll calculating pay, deductions and issuing payroll checks or direct deposit advises.
• Maintain payroll information for employees.
• Update payroll records for changes in employment, taxes, benefits, garnishments, and other deductions.
• Answers payroll questions and request and resolves payroll discrepancies.
• Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures.
• Understand and apply federal, state, and local laws that pertain to payroll processing and reporting.
• Attention to details and able to meet deadlines.

While performing the duties of this job:
You may be constantly required to sit and use hands to operate telephone, type and operate computer and mouse. You also may occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and rarely lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
