Title: Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician
Salary: Based on Experience
Position:
Local Tulsa Hospital is seeking a qualified Emergency Medicine Physician. The primary focus of the Emergency Medicine Physician is to provide high quality care to all patients. Position is 12-hour shifts, 6 am to 6 pm or 7 am to 7 pm. 24-hour physician coverage 12-hour APP coverage EMR.

As a Board-Certified Emergency Room Physician, a typical day for you might include the following:
• Assess patients that enter the emergency room immediately and oversee emergency patient's recovery.
• Conduct follow-up visits to monitor the patient's condition.
• Request the appropriate medical tests and based on them, follow a treatment plan.
• Develop effective patient care plans
• Oversee NP and/or PRN’s
This job might be for you if:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine
The company will expect you to:
• Medical degree from an accredited medical institution or program
• At least 5 years in as an Emergency Medicine Physician
• License to practice medicine
• Deep knowledge of current medical practices, procedures, and equipment
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work and think quickly in a high-stress environment
While performing the duties of this job:
You may be constantly required to sit and use hands to operate telephone, type and operate computer and mouse. You also may occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and rarely lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
