Salary: $20.00-$25.00 hour
Position: Full-Time Contract Position
Local Tulsa based Energy company is looking for a Full-Time Contract Division Order Clerk. The Clerk must be passionate about helping customers, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be organized and work well in a team environment but also be able to work independently. If you are looking to get your foot in the door with an amazing company then this is the opportunity for you. This position requires someone with a high level of energy and customer service skills. This is a Full-Time position working Monday – Friday 8:00-5:00

A Contract Division Order Clerk, a typical day for you might include the following:
• Analyze transfer documents such as assignments, probate documents, trusts. name changes, mergers, interest ownership accuracy, etc.
• Receive, analyze, reply to, and process mail/email/fax correspondence
• Process/research returned mail items
• Analyze, summarize and verify oil and gas ownership interests.
• Correspond/Talk with interest owners
• Perform departmental filing and scanning as needed
• Prepare and mail letters or Division Orders
• Create new cases in database on owners to be transferred
• Additional projects and tasks as assigned

This job might be for you if:
• Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems, including computer software programs to enter data and process information including, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
• Knowledge of managing files and records and other office procedures and terminology.
• Knowledge of legal document types, purposes, and effects.
• 1-2 years’ experience in an Oil and Gas Lease Records or Division Order a plus.
• Knowledge of legal descriptions and ability to read maps.
• Skills in effective oral and written communication.
• Ability to analyze information, respond to inquiries, and make recommendations.
• Analytical problem solver and strong attention to detail

• Positive attitude but a strong personality who is not afraid to ask questions.
• Excellent customer service skills
• MS Office: Word, Excel and Outlook

While performing the duties of this job:
You may be constantly required to sit and use hands to operate telephone, type and operate computer and mouse. You also may occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and rarely lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
