Title: Accounting Clerk
Salary: $16.00 - $17.00/hour
Position: Temporary to Hire
Tulsa hospitality-focused business is looking for a Full-Time Accounting Clerk.

As an Accounting Clerk, a typical day for you might include the following:
Perform weekly payroll department operations
Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely
Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports
Understand proper taxation of employer paid benefits, 401K, etc.
Process correct garnishment calculations and compliance
Execute time and attendance processing and interface with payroll company
Assist with Human Resources for benefit administration
Develop ad hoc financial and operational reporting as needed
Process manual checks
Create end of month payroll-related journal entries including payroll accrual, etc.
Monthly insurance review to ensure employee benefits are properly administered
Perform and record monthly inventories
Assist with preparation for annual audits
This job might be for you if:
- Have a High School diploma or GED
- 1-3 years of experience processing payroll
- Working knowledge of payroll best practices
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations
- Strong PC skills including proficiency in Excel

While performing the duties of this job:
You may be constantly required to sit and use hands to operate telephone, type and operate computer and mouse. You also may occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and rarely lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and distance vision.
